Ibrahim El Araby to Al-Ahram Eliktesady: we are looking at mechanisms to support the "Life of Dignity" program

The President of the General Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce, Ahmed al-Wakeel, announced the president's call for a national initiative to provide a decent life for the neediest community groups in 2019.

 

Ibrahim El-Araby, President of Cairo Chamber of Commerce, said that the Chamber is always striving to alleviate the suffering of the low-income citizens and is currently preparing a study to contribute to the initiative of a life of dignity, Stressing that it is scheduled to have cooperation between the Chamber and the Ministry of Social Solidarity to use research on the most needy families, pointing out that the initiative of the President reflects the sense of the problems facing those groups of society most in need, in order to improve their standard of living financially.

 

Al-Wakeel said the Chamber will work on three main axes to reduce unemployment and support the competitiveness of the Egyptian Producer for export development and import substitution, and called for the establishment of economic and social Councils in chambers of Commerce to develop commercial and industrial activity.
