50 Japanese companies to visit Cairo next March

In the framework of discussing aspects of joint cooperation between Egypt and Japan, Minister Sahar Nasr called on the Japanese side to expand investment in Egypt, especially after the great development witnessed by the business environment, a meeting held by the Minister of Investment and International Cooperation, in the presence of Takashi Tsunami, Director General of the Japanese External Trade Organization (JETRO) in Cairo, Yoshofumi Omura, Director General of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in Cairo, Atsushi Hirakour, President of the Japanese Businessmen Foundation, In the Business Council, and Eng. Ibrahim El-Araby, Chairman of the Egyptian side of the Joint Business Council.

 

Nasr said that cooperation with Japan has witnessed a remarkable leap over the last years, affirming the longstanding history of joint economic and cultural cooperation with Japan, including the recent joint projects in the education and antiquities sectors, especially the Grand Egyptian Museum.

 

Nasr called on the Japanese side to expand their investments in Egypt following the latest developments in the business environment in Egypt.
