Cairo Chamber receives the Philippine Ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt.

The Ambassador of the State of the Philippines to the Arab Republic of Egypt, Mr. Solbecio M. Conviado,is received by  Mr. Sameh Zaky Cairo Chamber’s  Board member and Mr. Khaled Mostafa Cairo Chamber’s Chief executive  at Cairo Chamber headquarters.

 

During The meeting is discussed the history of the distinguished relations between the two countries, which started many years ago with the opening of a general commission for both countries. The discussion centered on increasing trade exchange between Egypt and the Philippines and ways of increasing economic integration between the two countries and  opening new horizons and areas to examine the possibility of exporting medicines from Egypt to the Philippines because of the high prices there. It is worth mentioning that the Philippines is importing medicines from India.

 

In addition, they discussed the possibility of importing some types of marble from the Philippines and re-exporting them to other countries. Agreements were signed with them to import marble from Egypt.
