Chinese companies plan to pump new investments in Rubiki Leather City

Chinese Minister of Commerce and Industry Eng. Amr Nassar said that the Chinese company Shangxing expressed its desire to obtain license of Exploitation and operation for the leather factory in the new leather town of Rubiki, which is located on an area of ​​1800 square meters for the production of leather goods.

 

Nassar said during a meeting with a Chinese delegation of leather products producers who are visiting Egypt to participate in the 13th session of the Cairo Leather Show. The factory is the first to manufacture finished products as a target for the ministry to maximize the added value of the leather produced in the city of Rubiki, Leather Middle East and Africa.

 

Nassar stressed the keenness of the ministry to provide all support for attracting foreign companies to invest in Egypt, including serious Chinese companies, pointing to the establishment of the Chinese Shangsheng Company, the largest city of textiles and clothing in Egypt on an area of ​​2.1 million square meters in Sadat City.

 

He pointed out that a number of offers by some Chinese companies are being studied to invest in the third phase of the new leather city project in Rubiki, which is specialized to the production of leather products. It is targeted to establish 10 to 15 factories to manufacture finished products, and the production process of these factories shall commence as soon as possible after finishing the infrastructure, facilities and construction, on an area of ​​up to 40,000 meters
