Foreign Minister Sameh Shukri discussed with the delegation from the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt, ways to strengthen and boost Egypt - US cooperation relations, they also discussed upgrading the trade and investment exchange rates.

This comes as part of the preparations for an upcoming door-knock mission, organized by the Chamber to the United States during the coming period.

During the meeting, Shokry also answered the delegation's queries over the various aspects of the Egyptian-American relations, including the outcome of the US senior officials’ visit to Egypt in the recent period, including the latest visit of US Secretary of State «Mike Pompeo» to Cairo last January.

Foreign Ministry Spokesman, Adviser Ahmed Hafez admitted the delegation keenness for listening to the Foreign Minister's explanation of Egypt’s stance towards many regional and international issues.
