Intensive talks for Egyptian ministers on the second day of the Davos Forum

Minister of Investment and International Cooperation Dr. Sahar nsar, Eng. Tareq Al Mulla, Minister of Petroleum, and Eng. Amr Nassar, Minister of Trade and Industry, held a session of extensive discussions with Dr. Tarek Al - Hammouri, Jordanian Minister of Trade, Industry and Supply.

 

 

 

The two sides discussed ways of enhancing economic cooperation, increasing trade exchange rates and joint investment projects between the two countries during the coming period. The meeting also dealt with a number of trade issues on the agenda of the global negotiations, as well as a number of economic files of mutual concern. In addition to activate the cooperation relations between the two countries in the field of entrepreneurship, encouraging small investors and establishing a joint mechanism from both sides to remove obstacles facing investors from both countries.

 

 

 

For his part, Jordanian Minister of Industry and Trade Dr. Tarek Al Hamouri stressed his country's keenness to strengthen economic relations with Egypt during the current stage to reach distinguished levels that achieve the aspirations of the two brotherly peoples.

 

 

 

The Egyptian ministers also participated in the work of the Egyptian-Jordanian Ministerial Committee held on the sidelines of the forum, which discussed the removal of all obstacles between the two sides to promote investment. The two sides agreed to hold the joint investment forum on the sidelines of the Supreme Committee,which is scheduled to be held in Cairo this year.
