The Minister of Manpower: opening up new markets to the Egyptian labor force globally.

Minister of Manpower Mohamed safaan attended on Sunday 7/3/2019 the General Conference of The Division of Recruitment Companies at the Cairo Chamber of Commerce in Cairo Chamber's conference hall which aims to highlight the positive role of these companies.

 

 

The minister stressed his keenness to cooperate with the Recruitment companies, as they have a significant and effective role in reducing unemployment rates to 8.9%.

 

 

He expressed his hope to open new markets at the global level, not only Arab and African.

 

 

The minister praised the "be on the safe side" initiative, which was launched by the Division of Recruitment Companies to fight the fictitious companies of Employment.

 

 

For his part, Dr. Hamdi Imam, chairman of the Division of Recruitment Companies at the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, expressed his sincere gratitude to the Minister for his attendance and said that The Gulf’s demand for Egyptian workers has decreased by 80% since 2017.” He noted that nearly 200 out of 1,200 recruitment agencies officially registered with the Ministry of Manpower and Immigration have forcibly closed their doors since 2015. He attributed the decline to the worsening situation in Saudi Arabia, as well as other Gulf states, due to the war in Yemen and drop in oil prices.

 

 

The Cairo Chamber of Commerce awarded shield of honor to the Minister for his Praiseworthy efforts in serving the issues of work and workers.
