Engineer Ibrahim El-Araby, the Cairo Chamber's Chairman, won the election for chairman of the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce (FEDCOC). 

ElAraby got 21 votes against 14 for his competitor Ahmed el Wakeel. In the same elections, Mohamed el Masry won the post of the first deputy of FEDCOC, Adel Nasser won the post of the second deputy and Hasan Gaafar became FEDCOC secretary. 

Mohamed el Fayoumy won the post of FEDCOC treasurer and Mohamed Abul Qassem won the post of assistant treasurer.
