In a meeting with Cairo Chamber's delegation. The Chamber presented several files to Dr. Jalal

 

Al-Said the Governor of Cairo to discuss and develop appropriate solutions, including the problem of

 

street vendors, Poultry slaughterhouses and bakeries that the country wants to set up during

 

the coming period .

 

 

Eng. Ibrahim AlAraby- the Chamber's Chairman offered  some important files to the Governor,

 

the most important of which is the problem of street vendors who needs to intensive and

 

non-traditional efforts ideas to legalize their status, without harming their interests or the interests

 

of the shops' owners, who have obligations must be fulfiled.

 

 

 

AlAraby presented to the governor the file of Poultry slaughterhouses, which should be moved to

 

the outside of the residential area during the next year after issuing this decision. He also asked for

 

making procedures of obtaining lands easier to establish new slaughterhouses.

 

 

The third file was discussing ways of building Complex for bakeries, which includes a group of

 

bakeries in one place to reduce cost, as this will contribute to the development of this sector and

 

leads to product a good quality of bread loaf. He as well as demanded to allocate a land for building

 

the complex by usufruct.

 

 

For his part, Dr. Jalal said Governor of Cairo confirmed that all executive bodies in the Governorate

 

should exert more efforts with the police, Cairo Chamber of Commerce and citizens themselves to

 

solve the necessary problems, including street vendors.

 

 

He said that the Governorate is preparing to declare several measures and proposals to help solve

 

some of the problems inside the capital city.  the governorate is ready for cooperating with

 

the Chamber during the coming period to discuss The problems raised on the scene and appropriate

 

solutions to them.

 

 

The Governor expressed his full readiness for contributing in solving the problems and he will

 

address the commercial authorities that have joint commercial activities with the Chamber to

 

contribute in solving problems with the aim of stabilizing the situation in the capital city. In addition to

 

he demanded from the Chamber to communicate with the Governorate and held several meetings in

 

the coming period to discuss all obstacles.

 

 

He pointed out that the problems will take time to overcome the current difficulties due to the large

 

area of ​​Cairo and increase the number of its inhabitants, which reach 10 million people saying, "it is

 

like a country not a governorate," .there are countries has an equal a population to the population of

 

Cairo, and in this point lies the difficulty but Through cooperation and intensifying efforts we will

 

overcome these difficulties, pointing out that the work in the governorate is in full swing now in order

 

to avoid any problems and try to develop appropriate solutions to the current problems.

 

 

The governor promised to examine all the files of the Chamber and he will try to intensify meetings

 

during the coming stage to identify the most important proposals to amend the situation.

 

 

The Chamber's delegation supported the governor's demand for cooperation between the two sides

 

in the coming period and discusses all files, which lead to the stability inside the capital city.

 

 

 

They said that communication with the county will have many positive points in the next stage,

 

especially Dr. Jalal said well understand the problems well and he showed a great interest in

 

 examining all the files of the Chamber and promised of support and intensify efforts to overcome

 

obstacles.

 

 

 

They expressed admiration for Governor's interest in giving priority to submitted files, considering

 

the common interest stands eventually in favor of the capital city, which represented by the Chamber

 

of Commerce in all economic aspects.

 

 

 

 It is mentioned that the delegation included beside the Chairman,Ali Shukri -First Deputy,Mohamed

 

Gharib -second deputy, Pasha Idris- Assistant Treasurer, and Atiyah Hammad-the head of bakeries

 

Division.
