FEDCOC Keen to overcome obstacles hindering Japanese investment

During his meeting with the owners of Japanese companies investing in Egypt and the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), Eng. Ibrahim El Araby, the chairman of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, chairman of the General Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce, and the Chairman of the Egyptian-Japanese Business Council discussed the expansion plan in the Egyptian market during the coming period.

 

 

He said that president Sisi personally interest in companies investing in Egypt, in addition to the government's clear role in supporting investments and overcoming the obstacles that faced investors.

 

 

He confirmed the president's keenness to expanding the current foreign investments in Egypt and attracting new investments during the next phase.

 

 

He also called on the owners of Japanese companies to prepare reports on the obstacles that may face them, to be discussed and submitted to the relevant authorities, according to the Egyptian President instructions.

 

 

Al-Araby praised the active role and concrete efforts that Dr. Sahar Nasr, Minister of Investment and International Cooperation, has exerted in this field.

 

 

He stressed that the Business Council follows up on Japanese companies in Egypt and coordinates with them to be updated with the latest developments and their demands.
