A number of businessmen, presidents and members of Rotary clubs in Alexandria on Saturday evening organized a seminar entitled The Vision of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce on Trade, Industry and Investment in Egypt.

The spokesman was Engineer Ibrahim El-Araby, Chairman of the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Chairman of Cairo Chamber.

The seminar was attended by a large number of members of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce, Cairo Chamber and a large group of businessmen and businesswomen in Alexandria.

Eng. Ibrahim El Araby received a series of questions about the future of industry, trade and investment, the role of chambers of commerce, laws and regulations governing economic affairs and investment in Upper Egypt. Also about the activity of the Federation of Chambers in different countries, especially Africa, the community role of chambers of commerce and the extent of their contribution to price control in the market and support for women's projects and small and medium-sized enterprises.

The President of the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce pointed out that the role of chambers of commerce is constantly increasing the availability of goods to control the market or services that benefit their members such as health care, life and property insurance for the of traders and various other services,pointing out that the primary control of prices and their stability is the consumer who can balance the market through its purchasing culture, adding that the market has a great stability now as a result of the increase in the supply of goods either through government complexes and outlets or the private sector.

ElAraby also stressed the support of the role of women and encouraging them to expand commercial, industrial and investment activities, where its role has become significantly influential and FEDCOC seeks to increase.

The attendees praised the Chairman of FEDCOC for his response of , his attendance, answering to their inquiries and clarifying some matters related to the role of chambers of commerce in supporting projects in general and women's projects in particular to support traders in the next phase .

In addition to that he clarified the role of FEDCOC in developing economy internally as well as the vision of the future to develop the role of the FEDCOC on the ground in cooperation and coordination with all concerned parties.
