Fish and sea products recorded increase by 4.6%

Fish and sea products sector register an increased amount by 4.6%, this is because of rising prices of

fresh and frozen fish by (5.1%), and seafood increased by (6.2%).

According to the report issued by the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics,

 

Tuesday morning.

Although the fruit sector recorded a rise of (3.0%) due to higher prices of lemons by (131.2%),

 

Banana by (3.6%), pear and guava rate (13.7%), Dates by (19.1%), pomegranate rate (25.3%),

 

compressed dates by (10.6%).

 

The dairy products, cheese and eggs rose by (2.0%) , Due to the high price of milk powder by (11.6%),

 

cheese by (4.1%), eggs by (2.1%).

 

Other food products rose by (2.3%) due to higher prices of condiments and spices by (3.7%).
