Engineer Hany Gayed, Head of the Gold jewelry Division of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, stated that the Chamber is planning to hold the first and largest gold marketing festival in Cairo and Giza, under the patronage of Engineer Ibrahim Al-Araby, the chairman of the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce and chairman of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce.

This come in the light of implementing the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to participate in the price-cutting initiative and promote Gold products.

He added that the festival is going to start from January 23rd, and continue for a whole month, in order to increase sales and do many discounts for citizens, so, the market can be activated. 

He asserted that he aims at making 500 gold stores  participate in the festival, adding that the last meeting of the Division’s Board of Directors and its General Assembly was attended by a number of workshop owners and factories operating in this sector, and a large number of heads of Divisions in other governorates.
