Engineer Ibrahim Al Araby, chairman of the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce and chairman of the Cairo Chamber, called for an emergency meeting last Sunday attended by the heads and members of the various commercial divisions, owners of companies, factories and commercial chains, for participating in the President Abdel Fattah El Sisi initiative to stimulate consumption and encourage the local product.

The meeting is part of a series of similar events was held by El-Araby to discuss the mechanisms of participating chambers' members in this initiative.

Al-Araby stressed the important role of the state officials, headed by President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi, to support citizens.

Al-Araby expected the initiative is going to make much headway as a result of the cooperation between the government and the private sector in its implementation.

Al-Araby revealed that the initiative would benefit the market and citizens and ultimately benefit the national economy.

A large number of heads and members of the various commercial divisions and a large number of companies' owners, factories and commercial chains who attended the meeting expressed their desire to participate in the initiative.
