Al-Araby: Discounts On Food Commodities Up To 20% In Ramadan.

Engineer Ibrahim Al-Araby, chairman of the General federation of Chambers of Commerce, and chairman of the Cairo Chamber, revealed that a plan is being organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Supply to hold exhibitions at the level of the Republic to support citizens by providing all food and consumer goods with discounts of up to 20% As the month of Ramdan is approaching.

 

 

He announced that an extented meeting is going to be held with the Minister of Trade and Industry Nevin Gamei to discuss all obstacles facing trade and the ways to overcome them.

 

 

On the other hand, Al-Araby reported that the "Egyptian Commodity Exchange" business had been launched in various governorates with a capital of 100 million pounds, to which a number of banks and a number of other organizations have contributed. The Federation of Chambers of Commerce had also a 10 per cent stake in its shares.

 

 

The commodity exchange will evaluate the commodities, their quantities, and quality, and pricing details will be available daily.

 

 

 

The commodity exchange is expected to be completed by the end of the year 2020.
