Cairo Chamber's plan to implement the digital transformation system

The report of the Cairo Chamber 's Development Committee stated that a significant agreement had been reached to provide advanced services to the members of the Chamber, in line with the Government's development strategy for digital transformation and according to the directives of Eng. Ibrahim Al-Araby, the Chairman of both  the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Cairo Chamber, after signing a memorandum of understanding with Ibrahim Sarhan, the Chairman of the Electronic Payment Company, for providing advanced services to the Chambers' members in all the Egyptian Governorates.

 

 

Al-Araby called on the Cairo Chamber’s members to quickly take advantage of the cooperation agreement with "Khalis Company " and enjoy the many benefits available there, indicating that such services come within the development plan and converting business transactions to digital.

 

 

Ahmed Al-Wasimi, Vice chairman of the Cairo Chamber and Chairman of the Development Committee, said that work is in full swing since signing the Memorandum of Understanding between the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and "Khalis Company", where meetings have been intensified to reach a joint agreement for providing advanced services to of the Chambers' members.

 

 

For his part, Walid Ramadan, a member of the Cairo Chamber’s Board of Directors and a member of the Development Committee, said that the development plan and digital transformation implemented by the Chamber are going to be an important move to start developing all its activities and keeping pace with global developments.

 

 

 Mahmoud Othman, an advisor to the Chairman of the Board of Directors of (Khalis Company) for the Development of E-Commerce Business, said that these meetings resulted in agreeing to distribute the company's electronic payment points within a set of cooperation programs with the chambers of commerce to support small enterprises.

 

 

He also pointed out that the Company is working with Chambers of Commerce to create e-commerce platforms between medium and small businesses, build the digital chamber of commerce network that members can benefit from, and improve the payment and collection mechanism for electronic transfer.
