Cooperation between MSME and FEDCOC on Developing Various Sectors

Engineer Ibrahim El Araby Chairman of both the General Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce (FEDCOC) and Cairo Chamber of Commerce (CCC), received Engineer Tarek Shash, Executive Vice President of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise Development Authority (MSME) at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, and his delegation to discuss new ways of increasing cooperation in the coming period, in order to achieve the development of various activities.

 

 

 

This meeting came in coordination between FEDCOC, CCC, MSME, in the presence of Dr. Salah El Kamouny, President of ELGhabiya Chamber of Commerce, Mohamed Imbaby, President of the Giza Chamber, Dr. Hatem Zaky, member of FEDCOC Board, and on behalf of CCC Ahmed Al-Wasimy, first Vice Chairman, and Sameh Zaky, second Vice-Chairman.

 

 

 

Eng. Ibrahim Al-Araby said that the meeting dealt with discussing the general framework for cooperation in the coming period, and discussing ways of supporting the members of the Chambers of Commerce in the various sectors to support our country's national economy, noting that a series of joint meetings and seminars between the chambers and the Government authorities are held for the development of various activities in accordance with the general development plan of the state and Egypt's Vision 2030 .

 

 

 

Engineer Tarek Shash said that this meeting aimed to discuss ways of developing micro, small and medium enterprises, most of which are in the chambers of commerce, which is the broad base of the national economy. In the light of the advantages provided by Law that he hoped the members of the chambers of commerce would benefit from, and the Authority focused on simplified tax treatment because there were many projects have already benefited of the tax facilities.
