Joint Cooperation Between The Egyptian Embassy In Mauritania And The Fedcoc To Increase Exports

Engineer Ibrahim El-Araby, Chairman of both the General Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce (FEDCOC) and the Cairo Chamber (CCC), received Ambassador Khaled Youssef, the new Egyptian ambassador to the Embassy of Mauritania, to discuss aspects of joint cooperation to support Egyptian exports to the Mauritanian market, and to discuss ways to review investment opportunities available in the Egyptian market to the business community in Mauritania.

 

 

 

This comes within the framework of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s directives to open new markets for Egyptian products to increase Egyptian exports, according to the statement.

 

 

 

The meeting aimed at cooperating, coordinating and exchanging bilateral ideas between the Chambers of Commerce and the Egyptian Embassy, ​​which would support economic relations between Egypt and Mauritania, in addition to unifying efforts to promote Egyptian products in the Mauritanian market.

 

 

 

El-Araby pointed to the need to familiarize the business community in Mauritania with the investment opportunities available in Egypt in all fields, the reform measures taken by the Egyptian state, which improved the investment climate in the Egyptian market, and the Egyptian goods that importers in Mauritania can benefit from.

 

 

 

The Chairman of FEDCOC stressed the necessity of coordinating together to activate the movement of trade exchange between the two countries through the data and information provided by the Federation on the Egyptian markets and the available investment opportunities.

 

 

 

El-Araby stressed the importance of the meetings expected to be organized between businessmen in Egypt and Mauritania, hoping that they would yield positive results by directly discussing investment and commercial opportunities.
