Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly met heads and representatives of a group of major French companies, at the headquarters of the French Businessmen Council “MEDEF” in the French capital, Paris. The meeting was attended by Dr. Mohamed Shaker, Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy, and Dr. Hala Al-Saeed, Minister of Planning and Development The Economist, Dr. Mohamed Maait, Minister of Finance, Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, Minister of International Cooperation, Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Nevin Gamea, Minister of Trade and Industry, Ambassador Alaa Youssef, Egypt’s ambassador to Paris, and Counselor Mohamed Abdel Wahab, President of the General Investment Authority and Ayman Soliman, Executive Director of the Sovereign Fund of Egypt.

 

 

 

From the French side, Geoffrey Roux de Besieux, head of the French Business Council, and Regis Montfront, head of the French side of the Egyptian-French Business Council.

 

 

 

Dr. Mostafa Madbouly began the meeting by expressing his happiness at his meeting with the largest and most prominent French companies operating in Egypt, pointing out that such meetings represent a distinct opportunity for the business community to discuss and explore possible opportunities, and contribute to strengthening Egyptian-French economic and trade relations.

 

 

 

The Prime Minister praised the political, economic and social relations between the two countries, and the distinguished relations between President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, and his French counterpart, Emmanuel Macron, and the high-level exchange of visits between the two sides, which reflects France’s position in Egypt.
