Minister Nevin Gamea, Minister of Trade and Industry, made an inspection tour inside the Egyptian pavilion participating in the Intra-African Trade Fair, which is held in Durban, South Africa, during the period from 15 to 21 November, with the participation of 24 African countries. The Minister was accompanied during the tour by Ahmed El-Fadeily, Egypt's ambassador to South Africa, Mr. Mohamed El-Masry, Vice-Chairman of the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce, and Mr. Ahmed El-Weisemy and Sameh Zaky, the Vice-Chairmen of Cairo Chamber’s Board of Directors.

 

 

 

The Minister emphasized that Egyptian products have a great opportunity to penetrate the African continent's markets, as well as the fact that Egypt's trade agreements with African blocs such as COMESA and the Continental Agreement AF CFTA provide preferential advantages for Egyptian products in these markets.

 

 

 

it is worth-mentioning that this exhibition is held with an area of 882 square meters , and includes 41 Egyptian companies from various industrial sectors such as engineering, chemical, food, medical, ready-made clothes, fertilizers, leather, automobiles, transportation and banking services, in addition to micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise Development Agency, which is also participating in the exhibition through a number of  handcrafts companies, in addition to the active participation of companies from the Export Council for Readymade Garments, the Export Council for Medical Industries and the Export Council for Leather Products.
