A joint committee between Consumer Protection Agency and Cairo Chamber on Auto Market Control

Based on the directions of Engineer Ibrahim El-Araby, Cairo Chamber’s Chairman an expanded meeting was organized that lasted for more than 4 hours, with the participation of Ayman Hossam El-Din, Head of the Consumer Protection Agency and his accompanying delegation.

 

 

representing Eng. Ibrahim Al-Araby, the meeting was attended by Ahmed Al-Weisimy, First Vice Chairman of Cairo Chamber, in the presence of Sameh Zaky, Vice Chairman of Cairo Chamber, Mohamed Mahran, Member of the Cairo Chamber’s Board of Directors, Amr Suleiman, Member of the Cairo Chamber’s Board of Directors and Secretary of Automotive Division, and Walid Ramadan, Member of the Chamber’s Board of Directors

 

 

The discussions dealt with how to intensify cooperation and coordination between the Agency and the Chamber in order to achieve the public interest and contribute in controlling the market, which made the two parties agree to form a joint committee comprising members of the Consumer Protection Agency and the Automotive Division of the Cairo Chamber.

 

 

The attendees praised the response of the head of the Consumer Protection Agency, and exchanged discussions on a number of common issues.
