The 55th Cairo International Fair will be held from March 9 to 18, according to Minister of Trade and Industry Nevine Gamea, with a big number of important Egyptian enterprises from various productive sectors set to attend.

The Fair, according to Mai Assal, the head of the Egypt Expo and Convention Authority (EECA), is part of the government's interest in exhibitions and their role in supporting the national economy.

She added that the Fair helps to revitalize internal trade by providing high-quality products at reasonable rates, as well as enhancing Egyptian products' competitiveness.

Furthermore, Assal stated that numerous Arab and African countries, as well as representatives from the most important and largest local production sectors, are scheduled to attend this year's event.

She explained that the Cairo International Fair offers exhibiting companies distinct opportunities to directly market their products and services locally and internationally as well as remain updated on other fields. The fair can also serve as an opportunity to exchange experiences between Egyptian companies and their counterparts from various participating countries.
