Madbouly Instructs To Shorten The Required Procedures For Issuing Licenses And To Deal With Government Agencies On Behalf Of Investors

The Prime Minister is following up the steps for approving tax exemptions and granting more incentives for industrial projects.

 

 

Madbouly instructs to shorten the required procedures for issuing licenses, and the Industrial Development Authority will deal with any other government agency on behalf of the investor

 

 

Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, held a meeting to review the steps for approving tax exemptions and granting more incentives for industrial projects, in the presence of Mrs. Nevin Jameh, Minister of Trade and Industry, Ahmed Kouchouk, Vice Minister of Finance for Fiscal Policies Counselor Mohamed Abdel-Wahab, CEO of the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI CEO)and Major General Mohamed Zalat, head of the Industrial Development Authority,and Engineer Mohamed Abdul Karim, Executive Director of the Modernisation Centre.

 

 

At the beginning of the meeting, the Prime Minister indicated that today’s meeting comes within the framework of implementing the measures announced during the global press conference held yesterday to explain the Egyptian state’s plan to deal with the global economic crisis and its efforts to support the industrial sector and grant incentives and facilities that contribute to attracting more Local or foreign investors, in implementation of the mandates of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic in this regard

 

 

At the beginning of the meeting, the Prime Minister indicated that today’s meeting comes within the framework of implementing the measures announced during the global press conference to explain the Egyptian state’s plan to deal with the global economic crisis and its efforts to support the industrial sector and grant incentives and facilities that contribute to attracting more Local or foreign investors, in implementation of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi 's instructions.

 

 

 Ambassador Nader Saad, the Official Spokesman of the Prime Minister, stated that during the meeting, proposals for approving temporary tax exemptions for a number of targeted industries that are scheduled to be established within the new urban communities.

 

 

In addition to that each of the industrial, investment and technological zones, and remote areas were reviewed, if these exemptions apply during a specific period to encourage those industries in these areas.

 

 

 

During the meeting, the Prime Minister stressed the importance of following up the procedures for allocating industrial lands and providing more facilities in this regard. He instructed the head of the Industrial Development Authority to summarize all the procedures required to issue licenses so that the Industrial Development Authority is the only agency entrusted with dealing with the industrial investor in this regard

 

"I am ready to take Any decisions in order to achieve this goal, which is to quickly obtain licenses as soon as possible and the Industrial Development Authority will handle any other government agency on behalf of the investor and I will follow up on personally.” He said
