Trade Discussions Between Cairo Chamber And Embassy Of Peru

Eng. Sameh Zaky, Vice-Chairman of the Cairo Chamber, and Major General Salah El-Abed, Secretary of Cairo Chamber’s Treasurer, on behalf of Eng. Ibrahim El-Araby, Chairman of Both the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Cairo Chamber, received Mr. Eduardo Palacios, Chargé d’Affairs of the Peruvian Embassy in Cairo, and Mr. Giancarlo Andre, Head of the Consular Section at the Embassy of Peru to discuss new ways of  increasing exchange Trade and investments between the two countries.

 

 

Eng. Sameh Zaky stressed the importance of exchanging information of the two markets to increase the volume of trade exchange, which Cairo Chamber will provide for all products that can be exported to the Peruvian market, especially there are many Egyptian products in various sectors that the Peruvian market can benefit from.

 

 

Zaky added that the Egyptian market is rich in great investment opportunities in light of the projects available in all sectors, and the infrastructure recently implemented by Egypt has made the market attractive to investment.

 

 

He noted that the Cairo Chamber intended to boost the number of Egyptian exports by opening new export markets for Egyptian goods in light of the Egyptian legislative revolution, which strives to serve investors and promote the national economy. Especially with the government leadership's strong support, led by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, who directed a $100 billion boost in Egyptian export rates.

 

 

Major General Salah Al-Abd stated that the Cairo Chamber is fully prepared to receive Peruvian businesspersons and importers, as well as hold direct bilateral meetings with their Egyptian counterparts in a variety of activities.

 

 

Al-Abed urged Peruvian businesspersons to take advantage of the trade and investment opportunities available in the Egyptian market. As well as to establish bilateral partnerships and investments that increase the volume of joint trade and investment exchanges, noting that there is a great opportunity for importers in Peru to use Egyptian goods to meet their market's needs in the presence of high-quality Egyptian products.

 

 

Eduardo Palacios, Chargé d'Affaires of the Peruvian Embassy in Cairo, said that the embassy and the Cairo Chamber would coordinate to connect the two countries' business communities and hold bilateral meetings to discuss ways of cooperating in various fields. Especially as the embassy is now looking at new forms of connection between the Egyptian and Peruvian business communities.
