Protocol Of Cooperation Between Cairo And Tripoli Chambers To Increase Trade Exchange Between The Two Countries

Cairo Chamber of Commerce, headed by Eng. Ibrahim El-Araby, Chairman of the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce, signed a cooperation protocol with the Libyan Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture to support bilateral economic relations between Egypt and Libya during the next stage.

 

 

This occurred during a visit to the Cairo Chamber by a Libyan commercial delegation led by Nasser Hamza, President of the Tripoli Chamber's General Assembly, Naji Abu Jaalal, Vice President of the Tripoli Chamber, Ahmed Al-Hajaji, a member of the Management Committee, and Younis Al-Zidani, the Tripoli Chamber's legal advisor.

 

 

Eng. Sameh Zaky, Second Vice President of Cairo Chamber, Major General Salah El-Abed, Treasurer of Cairo Chamber, Ashraf El-Shimy, Secretary-General of Cairo Chamber, and members of Cairo Chamber's board of directors, Sherif Yahya, Ashraf Khader, Karim Ghoneim, Ihab Saeed, and Walid Ramadan, attended from the Egyptian side.

 

 

The protocol was signed by Ahmed Al-Weisemy, First Vice Chairman of Cairo Chamber, and from the Libyan side Naji Abu Jaalal, Vice President of the Tripoli Chamber.

 

 

The protocol aims to improve bilateral relations between the two countries in a variety of areas, including increasing joint trade and investment, exchanging all data and information on market needs and investment opportunities in both countries, organising bilateral meetings between exporters and importers, and establishing bilateral partnerships in a variety of fields.
