Eng.Sameh Zaky, Vice-Chairman of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, received Mr. Mohamed El Kamaly, President of the Arab Union for the Development of Industrial Exports (AUIED); Ambassador Abdel Moneim Mohamed Mahmoud, Secretary-General of (AUIED); and Ahmed El-Deeb, Secretary-General of (AUIED) for International Exhibitions and Conferences, to discuss aspects of cooperation in the next period.

During the meeting, Eng. Sameh Zaky said that the Cairo Chamber is ready for all aspects of cooperation in order to achieve a strong boost for Arab exports in general and Egyptian exports in particular, in light of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi's directives to seek to increase Egyptian exports to $100 billion by focusing on opening markets in different countries, especially the promising African market.

Zaky stressed that there are great instructions from Eng. Ibrahim El-Araby, Chairman of the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Chairman of the Cairo Chamber, to increase cooperation with various authorities to raise Egyptian export rates and to support the state in implementing its export development plan, which is what we are currently working through. Therefore, we are ready to cooperate, providing all data for our affiliates to participate in Arab, African, and international events that would increase Egyptian exports, noting that the proposal of the Arab Union for the Development of Industrial Exports would be circulated to all members of the Chamber in the various sectors to discuss ways of cooperation.

For his part, Muhammad Al-Kamal reviewed the purpose of visiting the Cairo Chamber, where he invited the Chamber’s members to participate in the Arab International Conference and Exhibition for Small and Medium Industries, which will be organised by the Arab Union for the Development of Industrial Exports under the auspices of the League of Arab States with the slogan "Opportunities and Challenges of the Fourth Industrial Revolution" during the period from November 2 to November 4, 2022 at the Exhibition Palace in Algeria, with the support of the relevant Arab and international ministries, authorities, and organizations. The conference will be accompanied by an international exhibition on the products of Arab small and medium enterprises and smart manufacturing technology.
