Cooperation Protocol between Cairo Chamber and GOEIC

The Cairo Chamber of Commerce, led by Eng. Ibrahim El-Araby, Chairman of the General Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce ( FEDCOC), and the General Organization for Export and Import Control ( GOEIC ) , led by Major General Essam El-Najjar, signed a joint cooperation protocol with the aim of sharing knowledge, exchanging information, and holding introductory seminars on the authority's work.

 

 

 

This was done in the presence of the Cairo Chamber's board of directors, which included "Ahmed Al-Weisimy, first vice chairman of Cairo chamber, Eng. Sameh Zaky, second vice chairman of the chamber, and members of the chamber's board of directors, Dr. Laila Al-Beily, Ashraf Kheder, Ihab Saeed, and Muhammad Mahran."

 

 

Engineer Ibrahim El-Araby stated that this protocol is an important first step toward overcoming any obstacles that the Chamber's members face, and discussing any common issues on the ground, which leads to achieving the public interest in accordance with Egypt's 2030-2050 development plan.

 

 

Major General Essam Al-Najjar, for his part, stated that the protocol is part of the General Organization for Export and Import Control's efforts to develop exports and assist exporters in opening new markets for Egyptian products, in accordance with Dr. Nevin Gamea's directives to achieve greater communication between the ministry's agencies and the business community with the goal of improving Egyptian industry and increasing exports.
