Engineer Ahmed Samir, Minister of Trade and Industry, stressed the Ministry's keenness to enhance cooperation and joint coordination with all business organizations, especially the Egyptian Federation of Chambers of Commerce ( FEDCOC ), investor associations and export councils, as they are key partners in the development of the Egyptian economy. This came during a meeting held by the Minister with Eng. Ibrahim El-Araby, Chairman of both FEDCOC and the Cairo Chamber.

The Minister pointed out that the coming period will see extensive meetings with the Board of Directors of the Federation of Chambers ( FEDCOC )as well as other business organizations to review the challenges facing the business community . In addition to that, finding urgent solutions to them contributes to achieving the objectives of the Egyptian state towards the development of the productive and service sectors.

For his part, Eng. Ibrahim El-Araby, Chairman of both FEDCOC and Cairo Chamber, stressed the Federation's keenness to strengthen cooperation with the Ministry of Trade and Industry to contribute to the implementation of the economic development plans adopted by the government during the current stage. With the availability of all the possibilities of the FEDCOC and its chambers in the governorates to contribute to the stability of the local market through the availability of goods to citizens at appropriate prices and encourage investment in new projects, especially in the field of small, medium and micro-enterprises.
