Eng. Ibrahim El Araby, Chairman of the General Federation of  Egyptian Chambers of Commerce and Chairman of the Cairo Chamber, received the Ambassador of Ecuador in Cairo, Rafael Ventimia, in the presence of the Vice-chairmen of the Cairo Chamber, Ahmed Al-Weisimy and Sameh Zaky, to discuss ways to increase cooperation in the coming period between the Cairo Chamber and the Embassy of Ecuador to increase bilateral economic relations.
The Ambassador of Ecuador expressed to Engineer Ibrahim El Araby the desire of the Chamber of Commerce in the capital of Ecuador, Quito, to sign a cooperation protocol with the Cairo Chamber aimed at consolidating bilateral trade and investment relations.

According to the legal and economic standards set forth in the protocol agreement made with various chambers of commerce around the world, that is what "El Araby" agreed to study.

Eng. Ibrahim El Araby stressed the importance of increasing cooperation and intensifying meetings between the business community in the two countries, and reviewing investment and trade opportunities in Egypt and Ecuador so that each party can identify its needs from the other party at the investment and trade level in different fields.

El Araby pointed to the stage of development that Egypt is going through in the recent period, the infrastructure carried out by Egypt, and the legislative amendments supporting investment and investors; as well as many Egyptian products that the Ecuadorian side can benefit from; pointing to the presidential directives supporting investors and increasing production locally, and the investment opportunities available in all sectors, which provide diverse opportunities for businessmen and importers in Ecuador to make the most of them.

El Araby pointed out that the Cairo Chamber would provide all the appropriate data and information to the Ecuadorian side about the investment opportunities available in Egypt in different sectors, and seek to facilitate things for businesspersons in Ecuador to enter the Egyptian market and inject new investments, whether through the Egyptian-Ecuadorian partnership or investment in any sector.

The Ambassador of Ecuador stressed his country's desire to consolidate bilateral economic relations between the two countries, providing that the real start will be through the Cairo Chamber and the protocol expected to be signed between the two chambers in the coming period.

The ambassador pointed out that his country has many and diverse investment opportunities, and the Egyptian side can benefit from them, as well as seek to increase the volume of joint trade and investment exchange, especially since the reason for this visit is the consolidation of economic relations between Egypt and Ecuador.
