Cairo Governor Visits With The Chamber Of Commerce To Talk Over Ramadan Preparations And Market Regulation.

Major General Khaled Abdel-Al, Governor of Cairo, called for an emergency meeting with members of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce to discuss the work plan during the coming period, to set up stands and exhibitions to sell goods from the beginning of January until the end of the blessed month of Ramadan, and to form a joint committee to follow up on all works and topics, implement exhibitions, and monitor challenges.

During the meeting, Major General Khaled Abdel Aal praised the role of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce in cooperating with the governorate to provide community services and control the Cairo market.while ensuring the implementation of directives for announcing fair prices for commodities in accordance with the directives of the political leadership, as monitoring campaigns will be launched on them. indicating that there will be periodic meetings that will take place with the Cairo Chamber of Commerce to discuss all developments at the market level, the demands of traders, and the challenges they face, and to coordinate with the various concerned authorities in order to control the market and maintain its stability.

 

 

Eng. Ibrahim El-Araby, President of the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce and President of the Cairo Chamber, for his part, stated that cooperation between the chamber and the governorate is increasing day by day in order to discuss the latest developments and the diversity of cooperation roles between the two sides in order to implement the directions of the political leadership, led by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, to support citizens and relieve their suffering.

 

 

This comes at a time when Eng. Ahmed Al-Weisimy, First Vice President of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, on behalf of Eng. Ibrahim El-Araby, headed the delegation of the chamber's members who participated in the governor's meeting, where a large number of members of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce and heads of divisions participated.

 

 

Al-Weisimy emphasised Eng. Ibrahim El Araby directives to increase cooperation with the governorate, which helps carry out the political leadership's directives to assist citizens, particularly those with limited income, whether on ordinary days or as certain seasons, like the blessed month of Ramadan.

 

 

The Chamber applauds the governor's orders to strengthen cooperation with the Chamber and points to Major General Khaled Abdel Aal's support for the Chamber's members, his response to various activity demands, and his prompt intervention when any issues affecting merchants arise at the level of the Cairo Governorate. This confirms that the subsequent stage will witness more stability in light of the governor and governorate officials' prompt response.
