The Cairo Chamber of Commerce leadership will pay on Thursday, January 23, a three day visit to
Larnaca, during which a Memorandum of Cooperation is expected to be signed with the city’s Chamber
of Commerce and Industry.
According to an announcement by the Larnaca Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the agreement will
pave the way for closer links between the two Chambers, aiming at promoting cooperation in all sectors
of the economy.
It is added that the decision to sign the MoC was taken after contacts held between the two Chambers,
that intensified their cooperation in 2013, following an agreement between the two Boards. The Egyptian
side, while in Cyprus, will also meet with the Energy Minister, state officials and businesspeople from
Larnaca, the announcement concludes.
