A Senegalese delegation visited the Cairo Chamber to discuss increasing investment relations between the two countries

The Cairo Chamber of Commerce, headed by Eng. Ibrahim Mahmoud El-Araby, chairman of the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce, received a Senegalese delegation headed by Dr. Abu Bakr Sarr, the Senegalese Ambassador to Egypt, and discussed ways to increase joint trade and investment cooperation during the coming period.

 

 

Eng. Sameh Zaky, vice chairman of the Cairo Chamber, received the delegation on behalf of Eng. Ibrahim El-Araby, in the presence of Ahmed Abdel Wahed, head of the customs division at the Cairo Chamber, and Eng. Mahmoud Mamdouh El-Araby, member of the Egyptian-Senegalese Business Council.

 

 

Eng. Zaky confirmed the importance of increasing cooperation in the coming period to support Egyptian-Senegalese economic relations.

 

 

He noted that the Egyptian market has several investment and commercial opportunities, suggesting a study of how the Senegalese side can benefit from the Egyptian side in many services, including medical and educational services, and adding that the coming period will witness the exchange of visits to study each market's needs on the commercial, industrial, and service levels.

 

 

For his part, Senegalese Ambassador Abu Bakr Sar affirmed his happiness to visit the Cairo Chamber and start a new cooperation with Egypt in light of the presidents' clear support for the two countries.

 

 

He pointed out the importance of increasing cooperation and exchanging bilateral visits, pointing out that the Senegalese side is going to facilitate cooperation with Egypt to advance the economies of the two countries, clarifying that Senegal will export petroleum gas next month and is distinguished by agriculture and industry, and therefore we need cooperation with Egyptian expertise.

 

 

Ahmed Abdel Wahed said that the Senegalese side's increased cooperation with the Egyptian chambers of commerce will achieve a major breakthrough in bilateral relations in the next stage, in light of the number of members of the Egyptian chambers of commerce who represent all sectors.

 

 

Eng. Mahmoud Mamdouh Al-Arabi said that this visit is very important to support economic relations between the two countries, and discussions and the exchange of views directly achieve real support for bilateral relations.
