According to Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli, the national strategic warehouses project is a high priority for the Egyptian State.

During his meeting with Supply and Internal Trade Minister Ali el Moselhi on Sunday, December 2, 2023, Madbouli added that the project is being carried out by the Supply and Internal Trade Ministry.

The meeting was held to follow up on the executive status of the national strategic warehouses project, which is due to be implemented in several governorates.

Madbouli stated during the meeting that the construction of such warehouses is consistent with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's directions to improve food security, which is regarded as one of the pillars of Egyptian national security.
