" El Araby Concludes The Elections Of The Cairo Chamber 'S Board Of Directors By Acclamation"

Engineer. Ibrahim El Araby, Chairman of the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Chairman of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, has concluded the elections of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce for the new 2023-2027 term by acclamation in an honourable scene that is credited to the merchants of the Cairo Chamber. This came after "El Araby" invited all 30 candidates to his home for a dinner celebration that was characterised by friendliness, love, and self-denial. A dialogue was opened among them on the importance of prioritising the public interest and choosing the 11 members by acclamation without resorting to the electoral procedures scheduled for June 17. This was immediately accepted by all candidates and blessed by the members who were chosen to win by acclamation, with everyone committed to working hand in hand to serve the Cairo Chamber and the national economy in general.

 

 

Mr. Ibrahim El Araby declared the names of the 11 members for the Cairo Chamber of Commerce who were selected by acclamation from the thirty candidates, including Major General Salah El Abad, Ayman Ashry, Sayed El Nawawy, Ashraf El Sheimy, Ashraf Khedr, Sherif Yahia, Khaled Hassanein, Mohamed Maharan, Mohamed Mondour, Ehab Said, and Mohamed Samy .

 

 

 

Everyone committed to "reconciliation" and cooperation to serve this great entity, the Cairo Chamber, which represents more than 650,000 traders, manufacturers, investors, and service providers, in order to develop its work in a manner that is commensurate with the size and weight of the capital city's commercial activities and the projects it represents in various fields.

 

 

 

Mr. Ibrahim El Arabi organized a meeting for all candidates of the Cairo Chamber to discuss members' understanding and objectives for serving various activities that benefit the public interest. As a result, a collaborative team was formed to work together towards a common objective, which is to enhance the reputation of the Cairo Chamber and reflect the elevated status of Egypt across all levels.

 

 

 

Thirty candidates had applied to run for the elections of the Cairo Chamber before "El Araby" ended the elections by acclamation.
