Mr. Sherif Yahya, Vice President of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the officials of the Tax and Customs authorities for their participation in the seminar organized by the Chamber on Sunday. The seminar included a series of workshops aimed at raising awareness among Chamber members in various activities about the latest developments and mechanisms for implementing 'Electronic Invoicing - Customs Broker Guide - Importer Guide - Exporter Guide.

In his opening speech at the seminar delivered on behalf of Mr. Ayman Ashry, President of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Sherif Yahia praised the fruitful collaboration that underscores our collective commitment to the public interest. He noted that this seminar comes in light of the Cairo Chamber's management adopting the state's directions and its members' suggestions to enhance and develop various activities in line with sustainable development goals. This is in support of the fundamental pillar of our national economy, represented by the Chamber's members. The goal is to raise their awareness about the regulations, rules, and laws enforced by the state, thereby aiding these activities in growth, expansion, and market regulation.

Mr. the Vice President of the Cairo Chamber also added that this specialized seminar, consisting of a range of specialized workshops, all addressing topics of particular importance to the state and the business community, marks the beginning of a series of other seminars that the Chamber aims to organize. These seminars will focus on diverse themes and directions, in collaboration with various relevant entities, to support our members.

Mr. Sherif Yahia continued in his speech, stating: 'The objective of the seminar and the series of workshops is to facilitate a direct dialogue between the tax and customs authorities and the members of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce. This dialogue aims to address these topics and provide answers to all the inquiries posed by the business community. These discussions are integral to ensuring the proper implementation of these regulations, in alignment with the overall direction of the state.
