Cairo Chamber at Egyptian-Pakistani Business Opportunities Conference; 'Rawalpindi' President Honors 'Al-Ashri

The Cairo Chamber of Commerce, under the leadership of Mr. Ayman Al-Ashri, participated in the Business Opportunities Conference organized by the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry in collaboration with the Embassy of Pakistan in Cairo. The conference celebrated the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Egypt and Pakistan and was inaugurated by Dr. Mahmoud Essam, Minister of Public Business Sector, on behalf of Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly. The event was attended by Mr. Sajid Bilal, the Ambassador of Pakistan in Cairo, Mr. Thaqib Rafiq, President of the Rawalpindi Chamber, along with several business leaders. Representing the Cairo Chamber were Mr. Ahmed El-Weisimi and Mr. Ehab Said, members of the Chamber's Board of Directors, and several Chamber members, as well as Dr. Alaa Az, the Secretary-General of the General Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce.

 

 

"Mr. Thaqib Rafiq, the President of the Rawalpindi Chamber, honored Mr. Ayman Al-Ashri, the President of the Cairo Chamber, along with several other distinguished individuals during the celebration.

 

 

Ayman Al-Ashri praised the strong relations between Egypt and Pakistan and the recent developments in bilateral cooperation across various trade, investment, and economic sectors."

 

 

Mr. Ayman Al-Ashri, the President of the Cairo Chamber, emphasized the advantages that the Pakistani side should capitalize on, highlighting Egypt's robust infrastructure and investment opportunities across various sectors. He also underscored the clear encouragement from the Egyptian leadership, headed by President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, for investors. He noted that several agreements serve as pivotal points for enhancing cooperation between the two countries, particularly since these agreements open doors to other markets in Africa, the Arab world, and Europe, in addition to the sizable Egyptian market.
