The Cairo Chamber of Commerce, under the leadership of Mr. Ayman Al-Ashri, held an extensive meeting to review the preparedness plan for the upcoming 2023-2024 school season and discuss the final details for organizing the main 'Welcome Schools' exhibition scheduled to launch from September 15 to 29. It will be organized by the Ministries of Supply and Industry, the Cairo Governorate, and the Cairo Chamber of Commerce at the Small and Medium Projects Development Agency Hall in Nasr City.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Engineer Ayman Hussam Al-Din, the head of the Consumer Protection Agency, as well as several members of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce's board of directors, officials from the Ministries of Supply and the Cairo Governorate, and chamber members and exhibitors.

Mr. Ayman Al-Ashri welcomed the presence of the head of the Consumer Protection Agency and all participants in the meeting, emphasizing the chamber's commitment to providing a community service by organizing the 'Welcome Schools' exhibition to alleviate the burdens on citizens during the school season and stimulate domestic trade to support the national economy.

The President of the Cairo Chamber stressed the importance of the chamber's members' role in the current period, which requires everyone to work together to ensure the success of the exhibition, supporting citizens with discounted high-quality goods, especially regarding the new school year's supplies, meeting the needs of Egyptian families for school supplies, clothing, footwear, leather products, food, computers, banking services, and other school necessities. He noted that there is good news awaiting citizens, both through this exhibition with its discounts and quality of goods and other positive announcements currently being arranged, which will be revealed immediately after the exhibition ends. However, the current focus is on delivering an outstanding exhibition that benefits all citizens and genuinely supports them with the start of the new school year.

Mr. Ayman Al-Ashri revealed a new initiative for this year's exhibition, which is a medical caravan located outside the main entrance throughout the exhibition period to meet the healthcare needs of citizens. This initiative aims to provide comprehensive community service to the exhibition's visitors.

On his part, Mr. Engineer Ayman Hussam Al-Din emphasized the importance of considering all factors for the success of this exhibition, following the success of previous exhibitions, which achieved significant success. The upcoming exhibition should encompass all school supplies with appropriate price reductions. He pointed out that real success comes in the face of challenges encountered during the preparation and organization of the exhibition.

Mr. Engineer Ayman Hussam Al-Din praised the Cairo Chamber of Commerce's role in organizing exhibitions in general, given the significant community role that traders play for citizens. He emphasized the importance of focusing on consumer support, providing purchase receipts for goods, and adhering to the exchange and return policy.

The meeting covered all opinions on ways to organize and make the exhibition successful, as well as showcasing Egyptian products labeled 'Made in Egypt' with significant discounts. Most opinions from members of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce indicated that the presence of Egyptian products at the exhibition exceeds 80%."
