Mr. Sherif Yahia, Deputy Chairman of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, on behalf of Mr. Ayman Al-Ashri, the Chamber's Chairman, received the Kenyan Trade Counselor, Tobias Angani, to discuss ways of cooperation and increasing trade and investment exchanges in the coming period.

Mr. Yahia stated that the Cairo Chamber of Commerce provides all the necessary data and information regarding investment and trade opportunities available in the Egyptian market, which would benefit the Kenyan business community. He pointed out that there are numerous diverse Egyptian products that the Kenyan side can take advantage of, especially given Egypt's focus on increasing Egyptian exports to foreign markets, particularly in Africa, along with investment opportunities across various sectors.

Mr. Yahia added that there is significant support and incentives from President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and the political leadership to develop Egypt's foreign economic relations and encourage investors.

Kenyan Trade Counselor Angani emphasized that his visit aims to support bilateral economic relations, increase trade and investment exchanges between the two countries, and support export and import operations. He also mentioned that the Kenyan Embassy will organize a meeting in Egypt in the next November, bringing together the business communities of both countries to discuss increasing mutual trade and investment.
