The Ministry of State for Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs and the Cairo Chamber of Commerce signed a joint cooperation protocol on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at the Ministry's headquarters in the Administrative Capital.

The protocol was signed by Ambassador Ehab Nasr, Assistant Minister for Foreign Relations and International Cooperation, and Mr. Ayman Al-Ashry, the chairman of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, in the presence of Ambassador Soha El-Gendi, Minister of State for Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs, Mr. Ayman Ashry, Cairo Chamber's Chairman, Mr. Sherif Yahya, Vice Chairman of the Chamber, Dr. Naglaa El-Naggar, a member of the Chamber's Board, and Mr. Mounir El-Masri, Head of the Labor Recruitment Companies Division for Egyptian Labor Abroad at the Chamber.

The Minister emphasised that the protocol aims to achieve social development by providing training and qualification opportunities for youth both inside and outside Egypt to find suitable employment opportunities. This is in line with the Ministry's mandate to implement the presidential initiative "Rescue Boats" and its ongoing efforts to combat illegal migration among Egyptian youth through raising social awareness.

Mr. Ayman Ashry, on his part, confirmed that signing this protocol is the result of the common goal between the Ministry of Emigration and the Cairo Chamber of Commerce through the Labour Recruitment Companies Division, aiming to train and qualify youth to find suitable employment opportunities within the country and abroad, in line with the state's directions.
