Cairo Chamber’s Chairman at the opening of the 14th Kuwaiti Week: New Support for Economic Relations between Egypt and Kuwait.

The Cairo Chamber of Commerce, under the leadership of Mr. Ayman Al-Ashry, participated in the Kuwaiti Week, covering investment, industry, culture, media, and tourism, in the Arab Republic of Egypt. The event was inaugurated by the Minister of Labor, Hassan Shihata, on behalf of Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, on Tuesday evening. The Kuwaiti Week is organized by the Kuwaiti Embassy in Cairo in collaboration with the Jaber Group for Kuwaiti Exhibitions, under the theme "Kuwait in Egypt." The opening ceremony was attended by the Minister of Finance, Dr. Mohamed Maait, the Minister of Trade and Industry, Engineer Ahmed Samir, and Kuwait's Ambassador to Egypt, Ghanem Saqr Al-Ghanem, among other dignitaries.

 

 

The Kuwaiti Week in Egypt, sponsored by Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, will continue for three days and involves the participation of over 80 Kuwaiti and Egyptian entities in various sectors, including industry, oil, investment, banking, medicine, tourism, media, culture, and communications. This event represents the largest Kuwaiti-Egyptian gathering, contributing to strengthening ties between Kuwait and the Arab Republic of Egypt in various fields.

 

 

Representatives from the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, including Mr. Ayman Al-Ashry, President of the Chamber, Mr. Sherif Yahya, Vice President of the Chamber, Brigadier Salah El-Abd, Secretary-General, and Dr. Naglaa El-Naggar, a member of the Chamber's Board of Directors, participated in the Kuwaiti Week.

 

 

Mr. Ayman Al-Ashry emphasized the importance of this Egyptian-Kuwaiti gathering, contributing to further cooperation between the two countries in various fields. He highlighted the significance of holding the Kuwaiti Week under the auspices of Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly and in the presence of several Egyptian and Kuwaiti ministers and officials. Al-Ashry stated that this event is crucial and gives special importance to this significant gathering. Through this event, new Egyptian-Kuwaiti cooperation benefiting the economies of both countries will be initiated.

 

 

The Chamber's President stressed that this gathering reaffirms Egypt's unprecedented development and growth under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. It opens new avenues for joint economic cooperation between Kuwait and Egypt, especially considering the distinguished historical relations between the two nations. The extensive participation of both Egyptian and Kuwaiti entities underscores the strong bond between the two brotherly nations, Egypt and Kuwait.
