Cairo Chamber Chairman Receives Ambassador Of Peru To Discuss Ways To Increase Mutual Trade And Investment Cooperation

Mr. Ayman El Ashry, the President of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, welcomed the Ambassador of the Republic of Peru to Cairo, Mr. Jose Jesus, in the presence of the Vice President of the Cairo Chamber, Mr. Sherif Yehia.

 

 

The two sides discussed ways to enhance trade and investment cooperation between Egypt and Peru in the upcoming period through increased collaboration between the Cairo Chamber of Commerce and the Embassy of Peru. They emphasized the importance of holding an extensive meeting to be scheduled in the near future at the headquarters of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce with the Chamber of Commerce in Peru.

 

 

Mr. Ayman El Ashry expressed readiness for the Chamber to bolster Egypt's connections with the global economy by endorsing trade and investment relationships across various sectors with the Peruvian business community. This commitment is particularly directed towards strengthening bonds with Egypt's political leadership under the guidance of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.

 

 

El Ashry urged the Peruvian Ambassador to identify market needs in Peru and the sectors through which cooperation is possible, to make future meetings fruitful and beneficial for both countries. This requires providing all possible data about the markets of both countries so that the other party can benefit from it effectively.

 

 

On his part, the Peruvian Ambassador affirmed the good relations with Egypt, emphasizing that both sides should strive to increase joint trade relations. His visit to the Chamber aims to support economic relations, especially considering the Cairo Chamber's known economic presence and influence. The Ambassador added that his country is characterized by various resources, including agriculture, mining, and fisheries, in addition to being one of the largest exporters of gold, silver, and copper. He highlighted the importance of developing economic relations between the two countries in the upcoming period.
