The chairman of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce participated in the Egyptian-Armenian Economic Forum, which was held at the headquarters of the General Fedration of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce last Tuesday in the presence of the Egyptian Minister of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Ahmed Samir, and the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nicole Pashinian, and the leaders of the Chambers of Commerce, Mr. Imad Kanawi, member of the Board of Directors of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce and member of the Board of Directors of the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce.
In addition to highlighting the utilisation of Egypt's unique geographic position and investment opportunities, Mr. Ayman Ashry emphasised the importance of this forum and its reflection on improving economic and commercial relations between the two countries. Especially President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi and the Egyptian political leadership are encouraging these attempts.
Mr. Ayman El-Ashry referred to Egypt's economic reforms that encouraged further investment in the Egyptian market, which was a promising market in terms of consumption and penetration of other markets.
