Opening of the Egyptian-European Investment Conference with the participation of Cairo Chamber’s chairman

Mr. Ayman EL Ashry, chairman of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, participated in the European Egyptian Investment Conference, which was opened by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi on Saturday in the presence of Dr. Naglaa El-Naggar, a member of the Board of Directors of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce.

 

 

Mr. Ayman EL-Ashry emphasized the conference's purpose to promote investment in Egypt, while President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi's opening reflected the Egyptian political leadership's commitment to providing full support to investors and leveraging the diverse investment opportunities across the country's various sectors.

 


He pointed out that such participation represented a clear message that Egypt enjoyed security and stability, which made it attractive for investments.

 

 

EL-Ashry expressed optimism about the conference's outcomes, citing the support of the President, Prime Minister, ministers, and all parties involved. He highlighted the importance of the event in boosting cooperation between Egypt and Europe and transferring successful European experiences to the Egyptian market in a way that serves the national economy.

 

 

Egypt will host the “Investment between Egypt and the European Union” conference on June 29 and 30, 2024, under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and the President of the European Commission. The conference aims at enhancing economic cooperation between Egypt and European Union countries, especially in the sectors of sustainable infrastructure, renewable energy, food security, health, education, sustainable transportation, and water and sanitation networks.
