The Egyptian-Emirati Business Forum in Support of Bilateral Relations between the two Countries

The Cairo Chamber of Commerce, chaired by Mr. Ayman Ashry, Chairman of the Chamber, organized the “Egyptian-Emirati Business Forum” to support trade and investment exchange between the two countries in the presence of both Vice-chairmen of the Cairo Chamber, Mr. Sherif Yahya and Mr. Sayed Al-Nawawi, in addition to the members of the Chamber’s Board of Directors: (Emad Qenawi, Ahmed Al-Wasimi, Muhammad Sami, Muhammad Mahran, and Ehab Saeed) and representatives from various commercial divisions within the Chamber of Commerce.

On the United Arab Emirates side, a delegation from the Umm Al Quwain Free Trade Zone Authority was attended by Mr. Rashid Al-Ali, Head of Business Development of the Free Trade Area Authority, Mr. Sameh Mehdi, Executive Development Officer, Mr. Sejo Cavanjal Joseph, General Manager, and a number of United Arab Emirates companies.

 

 

Mr. Ayman Ashry opened a meeting highlighting the significant role of the friendly relationship between Egypt and the Emirates, which helped greatly in developing economic relations and establishing joint investments between the two countries, emphasizing the need for increased cooperation in various sectors, including agriculture, health, mining, energy, logistics, transportation, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, contracting, textiles, and information technology, to support the economy between the two countries and boost economic growth.

 

 

His Excellency pointed out that there are directives from the Egyptian political leadership led by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to support investors and stimulate investment, stressing that the Cairo Chamber of Commerce has always sought to strengthen and develop relationships between Egypt and the Emirates to stimulate and activate exports and imports and capitalize on available investment opportunities.

 

 

After the conclusion of the Forum, bilateral meetings between businessmen in both countries were held, aiming at creating opportunities for integration between chambers in different countries to reach the highest levels of economic exchange.
