A coordination meeting to discuss the obstacles of exporting Egyptian products to the Libyan market

Held on 26/2/2014 at the headquarters of agreements sector at the Ministry of trade

 

and industry a coordination meeting to discuss the obstacles of exporting Egyptian products

 

to the Libyan market and was attended by Mr. President of TAS, in the presence of

 

the Libyan Embassy commercial counselor in Cairo, and  Mr. Esmaat derbala,

 

Director General of Economic Affairs, the  representatives of export councils, as well as Egyptian businessmen.

 

 

They discuss the problems and obstacles facing the Egyptian businessmen in exporting

 

 their goods to Libya and the solutions and recommendations for all of the problems that

 

have been reviewed by the affected people.

 

Recommendations of the meeting including:-

 

 

-With regard to the problems of pharmaceutical companies by Libyan commercial counselor in

coordination with the Ministry of health, and informing  the trade agreements sector , with solutions

 as soon as possible.

 

 

-concerning  the Difficulty of obtaining Libyan visas, the Libyan embassy in Cairo, in coordination

with the concerned  authorities will overcome the obstacles facing Egyptian businessmen

in obtaining visas to enter Libya in collaboration with TAS

 

 

- With respect to sector engineering goods and electronic, A Libyan Commercial counselor said that

the current economic situation in Libya in its initial stage and there is currently legislation

protecting trademarks from any problems in this context,and we ready to help any Egyptian company.

 

 

-With regard to the free zone we should provide Libyan embassy with a list of Egyptian companies

dealing with Libyan market, which has no  authorized trademarks in preparation to inform  

Libyan concerned authorities.
