Mr. Ahmed Alzainy, Chief of building materials Division at Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce

emphasize that there will a decrease in construction materials Concurrently with applying the new prices

for fuel.

He pointed out that Cement prices decreased 50 L.E per ton scored between 650-700 pounds per ton

instead of 700 to 750 pounds, Also steel prices declined about 50 pounds per ton, recording 4,800 pounds

to 5 thousand pounds, of iron imported a value of locally produced iron. As the same value of the locally

produced iron. 

Mr. Alzainy said that declining in Cement prices is due to the pump of Al-Arish's cement factory followed

by the armed forces with 50 thousand tons in markets including sales tax in addition to the decline in

demand due to Ramadan. And also the removals of violated Real Estate stressing that cement companies

sell at world prices, and achieved huge profits from the Egyptian citizen.

He stressed about the agreement which has been done during a meeting with Mr. ibrahim Mehlab , prime

minister , Against the upgrading of transportation prices for building materials.

Finally Mr. ALzainy called the prime Minister to abolish subsidies on energy for cement factories and iron

and forcing it to sell at world prices for the products
