Cairo Chamber calls for using iron-fist against smuggling mafia

Al Basha Idris, treasurer of Cairo Chamber of Commerce, said that it is important to

 

establish sovereign organization, that its only mission is to fight the outlaws ,using iron-fist

 

against smuggling mafia in Egypt because of  increasing rates of smuggling and dumping

 

of unknown origin commodities.

 

 

He added that increasing smuggling rates is one of the main reasons for closing factories

 

in Egypt which Hit Hardest by the Recession. In addition to smuggled goods are sold at

 

cheaper prices, which resulting in losing billions pounds to the country through tax and

 

custom evasion. 

 

 

 

Noteworthy that the studies were estimated at more than a Stats that, Egypt imported

 

goods and products beyond the 120 billion dollars, in  addition to that, The phenomenon

 

of smuggling incurring an annual losses about 50 billion pounds. Which means that we

 

need to face this phenomenon, which are increasing day after another.
