Federation of Egyptian chambers of commerce start the implementation of an integrated program
to promote the International Investment in the Suez Canal Corridor Development Project.
Mr. Ahmed Al-Wakeel, the chairman - stressed the need to set up a logistic service center to
support the industrial commercial traffic between Egypt and various countries, and also called for the
establishment of a governmental units on different rules and concepts involved in dealing with workers,
residents and investors.
Mr. AL-Wakeel commended to purchase shares in some of the projects there, which parts of them will
go for initial public offering.
Dr. Alaa Ezz, chief Executive of federation of Egyptian & European chambers of commerce pointed out
that all concessional financing mechanisms and the long-terms available for the private sector from banks
and international development funds, have been counted to exceed 22 billion Euro to be used as a
mechanism to attract investment.
