Austrian trade delegation visits Cairo Chamber

Cairo Chamber will Receive Austrian business delegation in mid-November to discuss the investment opportunities in Egypt,and Austria and ways of increasing trade between the two countries. This came after a visit of " Kurt Altman " Commercial Counselor at the Embassy of Austria in Cairo to the Chamber in the framework of strengthening economic relations between the two parties.

 

Engineer Ibrahim AlAraby – Cairo Chamber's Chairman said that currently Cairo Chamber coordinates with Egyptian companies' owners, Exporters, Importers of various fields to invite them attending the meeting.

 

He confirmed that all the companies' information and the volume of their transactions in the market, in addition to the information of Austrian companies provided by the Austrian side, which resulting in creating business transactions between two parties during prospect meeting.

 

For his part the Commercial Counselor said that the visit to Cairo Chamber will be in the framework of supporting the economic relations between two countries, pointing out that preparing a high-level business delegation to visit Cairo Chamber to discuss new business opportunities and increase the economic transactions between the two countries.  

 

He added that his delegation, which includes businessmen from various activities, has the desire to cooperate with Egyptian counterparts expecting fruitful results for both sides like new trade and investment opportunities in the next period.

 

 

It is worth mentioning that Egyptian Imports volume from Austrian market till May 2014 reached 149.4 Million Dollars. The Egyptian Export reached 9.5 Million Dollars. The most important Egyptian exports to Austria Fruits, Chemical products (organic-non organic), Salt, sulfur, stone, cement, and dairy products, eggs, honey and the most important imports pharmaceutical products.
