Visit of a delegation from Chad to Cairo Chamber of Commerce

Eng. Ibrahim Al Araby, Chairman of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce met with Mr. Fadl Al-Azhary  commercial and cultural counselor at the Embassy of the Republic of Chad in Cairo to discuss ways of cooperation to increase trade and economic relations between the two countries in the coming period.

 

Al Araby demanded  that we should activate Arab Egyptian trade relations with Chad in the coming period, as there are many Egyptian products to be exported to Chad and also we  seek for increasing support of export sector through coordination with the embassy's officials and organizing meetings between Egyptian businessmen and Chadians, either in Egypt or Chad.

 

On his part counselor Fadl AlAzhary said that Egyptian Chadian relations have existed since long times.  Egypt is considered one of important countries that can help Chad by virtue of this close relationships and the cooperation between the governments in Egypt and Chad recently .he  demanded for strengthening trade relations between the two countries through establishing  Transport means that would help its development .

 

The  Egyptian exports to Chad are (tobacco, fruits and rubber, grain, flour, machinery and electrical appliances), at the beginning of this year and even last May reached to 26 million pounds while the value of imports for the same period six million pounds in the sectors of oilseeds, grains and fruits.
